Puppy Waiting List

If you would like reserve a puppy from one of our upcoming litters, please read below:

What to expect:

Please note we are not a puppy mill. We do not have puppies all year long, back to back, All of our litters are carefully planned. Our breeders are our pets first. The health and wellbeing of our pets are our #1 priority. With that being said, please understand it could take months between one litter and the next. Sometimes, we have two at the same time or a week or so apart, depending on our females' cycle. For instance, Bailey and Penny cycles's tend to stay close together, so their pups are usually one -two weeks apart.

How does our waiting list work?

The person who applies first is at the top of the list and gets first pick when a litter becomes available. Then, the second person to apply gets next pick, and so on; however, a few other factors can also impact your place on the waiting list. For example:

Even though you may be high up on the waiting list when a litter arrives, you may be looking for a puppy that has certain features or characteristics (you may want a pup of a particular color or have a preference for a boy or girl puppy. So, if the type of puppy you want isn’t in the litter, you’ll stay at the top of the waiting list for the next litter while we pair pups from the current litter with people below you on the list.

Also, please note, we reserve the right of the first pick from each litter for ourselves, depending on our program needs. So even if you’re at the top of the waiting list, we, the breeder may decide to keep one of the pups for our own before you get to choose your new furry family member.

Waiting List Cost and Terms/Conditions

A waiting list serves no purpose without a fee. We will charge half of the deposit we normally charge for a solid or dapple color pup, depending on what you want to reserve. Thus, $150 for a solid and $250 for a dapple. The fee is non-refundable unless we do not have a puppy available for you due to unforeseen circumstances (death of a pet or breeder, dissolution of business, things that could happen which are out of our control). The fee will be used as a partial deposit. After you choose your puppy, you will be charged the remainder of the deposit to reserve your puppy.

What happens after you join our waiting list?

After you have submitted this form and paid for your application, a receipt will be emailed to you within 12 -24 hours, reflecting your payment and what it is for. Once a litter arrives, I will begin contacting everyone, starting with the person at the top of the list. We will contact, by phone, text, email, etc... We will always try multiple ways so if you don't get one way, you will receive the message through another. We will give everyone a courtesy of 48-72 hours to respond. You may not be ready to decide within that time frame and that's okay. We will move on to the next person on the list. If there is no one else, we may start promoting the pups on our social media platforms, website, and Good Dog Breeder. When you are ready to catch on, you will be given priority to choose from what is available or wait for the next littler, and so forth.

Length of Contract

12 months but it can be extended as long as both parties agree. To clarify, you need to pick your puppy within 12 months or ask for an extension.
