How to reserve your puppy

Deposit and Reservation:
Prior to posting a deposit, we kindly ask that you submit the form "puppy reservation form" button on the bottom of this section page. Please only apply if ready to pay your deposit. The information we ask in the form enable us to set up a meet and greet, process your reservation and puppy registration paperwork. Rest assured the information you share is kept confidential and used for puppy registration and receipt only. We respect and value your privacy. Posting a deposit is the first step in reserving a puppy from us. Deposit is $500 for any color other than dapple. Deposit on any dapple is $750. Our puppies are priced between $1800 - $3800 PET AKC/CKC limited registration only. Dapples are priced higher, depending on the puppy. Every litter is different. The deposit is your guarantee that we will not continue to advertise and/or place the puppy you have chosen with someone else. The deposit is also our guarantee that you will be purchasing the puppy you chose, therefore the deposit is non-refundable. The only exception to this rule is if the puppy is not available to you. Anyone who backs out on a puppy at the last minute (7-8 weeks of age) will be added to my "no sell list," in addition to losing the deposit. It is very hard on the puppy and on us to see all mates go home while he or she is the only one left here. We have to start the process all over, looking for the right family and running advertisements. Please ensure that the puppy fits your budget and you are happy about the puppy's looks, lineage, and everything else from day one. A good rule of thumb is having the money saved up for the puppy if the total price was due at the time you fill out your application. You will be notified when your puppy is ready to come home. We like to post updates and keep families up to date on the puppy's development. Our puppies are at least 8 weeks when they are released by the vet to to go home,; however, we reserve the right to keep the puppy longer than 8 weeks if we feel or have been told by the vet, he/she is not ready to go home. In that case, we will continue their vaccinations and deworming while they are under our care. All puppies go home microchipped, with a lifetime service completely free of charge to you. Once we let you know your puppy is ready to go home, you must make arrangements to pick him/her up within reasonable time. If we don't hear back from you within a few days, we will assume that the puppy will be available to others.
Puppy Visitation:
We do not schedule appointments without deposit; however, if we both agree that you are paying the deposit in person at the time your puppy is ready for visitation (after 4 weeks of age) and your visit is within one-two days of your request, it may be fine. The normal process is, once you have submitted the puppy application form and paid your deposit, we can set up a meet and greet. We allow one family appointment to see the puppy of choice at the time we agree:-). Puppy appointments are scheduled for Saturdays only; anytime between 11am and 5 pm works well for us. The visit takes place at our residence, in Dade City, FL 33523. We kindly ask that you and the person (s) accompanying you wash hands and lower arms thoroughly with soap and water provided. This is a courtesy we extend, which most families take advantage of. However, we do not allow pet visits. Please leave your fur kids at home. No outside animals are permitted into our kennel. We allow 1 hour visit and pictures with your puppy are ok.
Payment:
We are able to set up payment installments through Good Dog at the buyer's request. Please note that payments submitted through Good Dog's payment system accrues extra charges pertaining to transaction fees. Please be aware of the extra services offered by Good Dog during check out. These services are exclusive with Good Dog and has nothing to do with Kingpindoxies. PLEASE NOTE THAT IF YOU INITIATE CONVERSATION THROUGH GOOD DOG, WE ARE REQUIRED TO ONLY ACCEPT PAYMENTS THROUGH GOOD DOG. NO EXCEPTIONS!
Puppy price includes puppy rearing, registration, microchip, and vet bills for parents and puppies, puppy nutrition, and go home bag.
You must be completely paid for by the time your puppy is ready to go home. If you are not set up through make payments through Good Dog, we accept Venmo and Zelle for deposit ONLY!) The balance must be paid in cash on the day your puppy goes home with you.

Please note, if you a buyer is unable to meet the remaining financial obligation when his or her puppy is ready to go home, the puppy will be readvertised on our social media and website. There is no expectation of refunding deposit on the puppy that you have previously reserved. In some very special cases, we may consider placing you back on the waiting list. Again, deposit is non-refundable.
Pricing:
Pricing a dachshund is not an easy task. Dachshunds are not just a dog. They are a little person stuck in the body of a canine. Our puppies are priced depending on color, coat, gender, and bloodline CKC/AKC status. We charge enough to ensure our puppies will be well taken care of, thus minimizing the risk of having any of them ending up on a shelter, or rescue, or even worse. Returning buyers receive $100 discount per puppy reserved if they have left us a 5 star review.
The day you take your puppy home:
When you return to our residence to pick up your puppy, we go over the essentials: feeding and feeding schedule. We feed Purina Pro Plan puppy food (dry). Your goody bag will include a nice feeding chart and feeding schedule we have developed ourselves, your puppy's buddy ID microchip number and online registration card, your final receipt reflecting your balance paid in full, sample of the dry and wet food, and coupon. We register each litter with CKC. They send us the appropriate forms which we input your information. We mail the forms back to CKC for processing. They send us the registrations and mail them out to you. Once you receive your puppy's limited registration, you have the option to transfer the puppy into your name. We encourage all our puppy owners to transfer ownership into their name. Buyers pay a small fee of $15 payable to CKC. This process takes anywhere between 30-60 days to conclude.
Lifetime Return Policy:
Our puppies are our legacy. They are a little embodiment of us that we share with you. Our puppies are not "just a dog." We do not wish for any of our puppies to be faced with being "given up" to a shelter or rescue, or worse. We want you to know we will always have a place or find a furever home for our puppies in need for as long as we are in business. If for any reason, you find yourself unable to provide for your dachshund, you may return him/her to us and we will provide all the love and care until we can place him/her in a loving home.
Why would you want to reserve a miniature dachshund from us?
I can think of at least 12 good reasons to consider purchasing a puppy from us.
1. We are passionate about the breed. Our dachshunds are family members first and their needs come before our own. We are also real, honest people. I cannot tell you how many scammers pop up everyday. They are out there. Trust me!
2. Our miniature dachshunds are family members. They sleep with us; they are groomed and spoiled on a daily basis. I kid you not! We own 10 of them!. We walk them, bathe them, groom them. We spend a lot of time with our dogs. They live in our house.
3. Our puppies are not an industry. They come from full blooded and full health panel DNA tested parents. Parents have been DNA tested and are cleared for genetic diseases, so it is highly unlikely, your puppy will suffer from issues that stems from poor genetics.
4. Puppies are eligible for registration and pedigree request (CKC/AKC pet only--limited). This is important so you know the history and family tree of your puppy's bloodline.
5. We invite you into our home so you can experience your puppy for the first time before he goes home. Most places will not afford you that courtesy. If they are legit, you get your puppy at 8 weeks or later and that is your first time laying eyes on that puppy.
6. Value for money. Most reputable breeders will charge you the same or more but give you no papers at all. Some will give you papers but make you sign a spay/neuter agreement for even pet only status.
7. Value for money. Our puppies go home well socialized. They are exposed to various sounds and other animals such as bigger dogs and cats. Crate training and pee pad training initiated. Puppies are also microchipped with a lifetime service free of charge to you. All you have to do is register the number online.
8. Regular puppy updates through our FB page, TikTok, and Instagram accounts.
9. We breed for temperament and conformation. Your puppy will go home pre-spoiled and ready to adjust to his/her new environment. We spend a lot of time interacting with our puppies, especially during 4-8 weeks of age.
10. In your goody bag on check out day, you will be briefed on the important stuff such as your next vet appointment, microchip online registration, sample and coupon for the puppy food we use (Purina Pro Plan Puppy food). You won't leave us second-guessing anything.
11. We are friendly people you can always come to if you have a question about your puppy.
